What started out as a group of friends with love for all things dune related, quickly grew into something much bigger. In 2017, our founder, Dave Martel had a vision to bring people, beyond his group of friends, who shared that same passion for off-roading together. His vision wouldn't separate people by their choice of off-road toy, experience level or riding style. Instead, it would be a community that everyone could be a part of simply because you love to DUNE! That community quickly grew into the brand we know today as, Dunestars!

 

After pitching the idea to his close friends, and getting their excited approval, the process to release the brand to the public began. On March 26, 2017, Dunestars made its public debut at the Michigan Buggy Builders show in Lansing, MI. From there, we created social media accounts, developed an apparel line, a built a brand everyone can be proud of!

Since 2017, we've been blessed with some amazing opportunities. Out apparel line can be found in various stores across the country. We've helped fellow industry brands manage and refine social media, provided product R &D, product testing, marketing support, event promotion, and team management. We've also partnered with and became brand ambassadors for top level companies like PRP, WeighSafe, RLB, DRT, Rugged Radios, just to name a few.

In 2023, we opened our first retail store, DS Motorsports, complete with a comprehensive service center and the best products. Our store is conveniently located on Polk Road, just a few minutes out side of Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan.
